Scalability
With ADOS system architecture installed, you can input, index and retrieve large volumes of business documents with ease amongst a large number of users. There are two versions available; ADOS Standard - This departmental edition runs from a Single Server, and supports users in a single domain. ADOS Enterprise - This enterprise wide edition is available to support Server clusters and / or multiple sites.
Security
ADOS benefits from a single sign on. This allows the user to sign on to the Windows domain, to then be able to use ADOS according to the rights and permissions granted. Documents can be replicated on multiple ADOS servers for easy on-line access. All documents can be secured through a centralised back-up solution.
Version Control
When a document is created and archived, it cannot be overwritten. A copy will be created with any amends or changes being stored in a new version. The integrity of the original is preserved.
Integration
ADOS supports many industry standard products, is easy to learn and use and can be easily integrated into existing network environments.
Databases
The ADOS Document Management System stores all active archive information in a SQL database. This enables you to fully utilise leading SQL database engines such as MicroSoft SQL Server or Oracle.
