Privacy policy
UK Data Protection Legislation is designed to regulate the Collection, Handling, Storage, and Erasure of the Personal Data held about you on a computer system, electronic storage facility (including the ‘cloud’) or within a physical filing system.
To meet the requirements of the UK Data Protection Legislation, we regularly review the compliance requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018 (as amended for BREXIT) and all applicable UK Data Protection Legislation.
As a data processor, it is our responsibility to ensure that the Personal Data we process on your behalf is:
- Processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner
- Collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes
- Adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary
- Accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; every reasonable step will be taken to ensure that personal data that are inaccurate, are erased or rectified without delay
- Processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organisational measures
- The subjects of the data we process on your behalf, have the right, on written request to:
- Access their personal data that we hold
- Rectification (Correction/updating) of their personal data Erasure of their personal data (Right to be Forgotten) Restriction of processing of their personal data
- To object to processing of their personal data to data portability
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;

Datatron has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to oversee how personal data is processed.

Any queries regarding your personal data, or any of the above, should be directed to the Data Protection Officer.
We are obliged to respond to any of the above requests free of charge unless the data requested is excessive in quantity or is a duplicate copy for which a reasonable fee will be payable.
